Ft Myers Offshore Inc (FMO) 2015/16 event schedul
Ft Myers Offshore Inc (FMO) 2015/16 event schedule
The FMO board of directors is happy to announce the 2015/16 event schedule. This will be the 10th season for FMO. We look forward to seeing you this winter. Thank you to all the board members for all the work done throughout the year.
This season we will once again have two overnight destinations. We will return to the Keys at stay at the new Hyatt Faro Blanco in early October. In addition we will have our traditional run to Hyatt Sarasota in April.
While most FMO events are free of charge to paid up club members, we will also continue our tradition of having two designated fund raising events in support of the clubs student scholarship fund. In addition we will have our usual 50/50 draws and clothing sales in support of our designated charity. Last season we had a record number of memberships and we hope that will continue again this season.
Thank you,
Eric Belisle, Hans Haedelt, Bill Lemanske, Stan Quinn, Meghan Brousseau. Director-Bob Barnhart

I have a question for the powers to be. Why is there a giant hole in the event calendar that covers basically all of Jan and all of Feb? We have done the Sarasota run several times and really hated to see it moved though I understand why it was moved. I will be towing down in a few days and the boat will be there until the end of Feb so if anybody wants to get together speak up and we will see if we can get down. I would love to spend a weekend in the keys.

It is a long gap. A lot of members come down for the Miami boat show which is the middle of February. So we try to leave a gap before and after the boat show. Hope you can make the New Year's run.
Thanks
