Just wanted to say thanks for everyones help. A big THANKS to Augie! Called him and talked us through that nightmare! I was the passenger on this roadtrip. Yes, we did end up in Queens on Jamaica Ave, and yes, he pulled a U-TURN on Jamaica with a 28ft. Checkmate and Excursion. Got to my house at 4:30AM. Grabbed a shower and now at work so should make for an interesting day. Thanks again Augie, see ya in NYC. We'll come bearing gifts next time for you. :drink:

Glad to hear you made it back okay!!!! Next time ask before you leave...lots of us Queens/L.I. guys willing to give you some 1st hand knowledge on our highways and parkways....and enjoy the new toy....

I had it all mapped out. The no trailer thing f-ed us up. Next time. Ha! There is no way in h*ll I'll ever tow anwhere neare Long Island again :D .
