I was on Lake Travis last weekend and saw this Nor-tech out running. It is an awesome boat, and the owner seemed to be driving it very carefully. A friend of mine called me right after the boat came off the trailer. He said the owner was very upset about it. The winch strap just broke, and off it came! So, use your straps front and rear from now on, I know that I will!

Before I bought the Formula I took a pair of 10,000lbs 2 inch straps and cut them to about 5 ft. for use as rear straps. Always been paranoid about losing a boat and this just confirms my fears!

First, I feel the pain, and when i saw those pictures I almost fockin puke. Salesmanship summed it up, Fastboats/Randy had nothing to do with it. Driver error, maybe with no straps in the back. But who would guess that the front cable would brake. We all know also that it was not from over exceleration, it was a Ford pulling it. I pull my 36 from the ramp to storage or even home without the back straps, NOT ANY MORE. If the owner is reading this I truly feel for ya!

Looks like the angle of the bunks and the slide goop that was put on allowed it fall off the trailer. My cat the bunks are flat and even if the cable and ties were not on I can pull it out of the ramp un-hooked. About the only way my boat would fall off is if I were upside down in the ditch. "Love my Myco"

Lower housings, props, and some light bottom work and that boat will be like new. That boat will be just fine after is repaired.

I was on Travis as well for the Baja Poker Run and snapped a pic of this boat. The guy seemed like he did not have a clue!
