As I look closer, the Excursion towing it has FASTBOATS.COM across the lower panel. OOP's!! :eek: That may blow the sale if they were bringing it back from a sea trial? :drink: I lightend up the pics a little so you might be able to better. At least for me they were a little dark. I wonder what the asking price is now?? Actually it doesn't look that bad considering what could have happen. I think a Nortech hull can handle a 3' drop not to mention it probably didn't drop that fast, still sad.
I will personally admitt I slack on the rear tiedown but not after seeing this. WILL :( |

Just think on a stepped botton v hull this would not happen.

Probably really not that bad as far as actual damage, other than the drive skegs and very bottom of the strakes. Still some $$$ though. If you think about it, the boat just did a slow slide off, dropping the back then the trailer pulling out from underneath it until the front cleared. Then just straight down, no sliding.
That's gotta hurt. Nice boat. I'm with Slingshot, have a little more consideration for a guy that is down already. Why the need to kick him more? Go back a several months when tansom tie downs were a topic and see how many admitted they don't use them. |

Man I hate to see something like that happen to anyone. Good thing he was not out on the interstate at 75 MPH with that baby.
Hey, that Excursion looks just like my wife's! :eek: Yeah, that is an X Lake Norman boat. Belonged to Bill Ingle. He has another 36 now. Here are some shots of it at the FireFighters Poker Run in Jacksonville last June. The folks sitting in it did not own it. |

What a bummer, hopefully he wasn't showing off the torque of his turbo diesel, if he was that is one hell of an expensive way to show it :eek:
Definately a sad sight though, but if he can afford the boat, they can most likely afford the repairs, just too bad its an unecessary repair :cool: :cool: |
