Hey, that Excursion looks just like my wife's!

Yeah, that is an X Lake Norman boat. Belonged to Bill Ingle. He has another 36 now.

Here are some shots of it at the FireFighters Poker Run in Jacksonville last June.

The folks sitting in it did not own it.
Thats good to hear I know the guy and his wife sitting in it! I started to freek

I don't know the guy but I just spoke w/ a friend of mine who does. Yes, it came from Randy. But, there's a question as to liability. "Supposedly" the boat had already been officially, "Delivered" but a Fastboat.com driver was behind the wheel when the strap broke; and yes, no other straps were used So, the question is... who holds liability.

More gossip later...

See everyone in the cove weekend of May 6th-8th. Glad boatin' seasons FINALLY back!!

It is a very unfortanate thing to happen to all parties. Accidents do happen, it makes us all aware of what happens when we rush cause we all are on such busy schedules trying to make that big $. I have really concentrated this year in slowing the pace down, not rushing so much, and it is paying off. These guys feel bad enough, embarrassed, so lets not kick them down any more. I have learned from there mistake, I will be giving WAR PARTY 36 a call for some specialized straps before my new boat arrives. Good luck to everyone involved. Jeff

Really a sad sight . I know I hardly ever use a transom strap, but I also know I will never tow again without one!!! A backup strap on the bow eye will also be a "must have". Jeff, who is warparty, and what sort of straps does he make or sell? Leaving today to take delivery of the new boat and wouldn't mind having some custom straps. Contact info? Thanks P.s. I'll be at the factory Monday if you need pictures of anything.

I happen to know where a guy could get some pretty blue ones to match that boat. That is sad, that was a hell of a nice boat.
