Any dash "indicator" brand can be used, such as Mercury/Kiekhaefer, Stainless Marine, Gaffrig Performance, Livorsi, Bluewater Performance, etc...What you are asking for, I assume, is the "Actuator" that attaches to your outboard. There is an established Yamaha Hi-performance company in, I think?, Mississippi, that specializes in aftermarket Yamaha parts. Do a search. Ed

Yes, Stainless Marine and others make the Merc "acuator", but I havn't seen a Yamaha one. I'd like to find acomplete matching system, which is why I called it the "trim indicator".

Any clue as to the name of the Yamaha shop?

Why would the Yamaha actuator be different than the Merc? Drill and tap and then attach the actuator. I just finished re-mounting the ones on my 300x's. One thing I would reccomend though is to stick with the same brand indicator as actuators. I have a Livorsi indicator and Bluewater actuators and they don't seem to match up well (hard to adjust). I am going to replace the indicator with a Bluewater.

I've never seen a picture showing how the ourboard ones mount. Do you have a pic you could post? I like the Stainless Marine ones with the no-slack and the "pop rods" display if I could make it work.

I don't have any on this computer that is close enough for you to see how they mount. I will look when I get home.
