I won't go into the whole Lamb thing, at100 have continued that discussion via private messageing.
But before you post you might want to know what the hell you are talking about. A surveyor can not close a shop, he also doesn't inspect a shop or the boats surroundings. A surveryor is a third party that is brought in to inspect a boat prior to sale or for insurance reasons. All he does is give you an estimated value of a boat and a luandry list of things that it needs.

Hillbilly and I have discussed this matter via PM. Hillbilly is in the service business and I understand his feeling that when dealing with the masses you will find many screwball customers with baseless complaints.

I pointed out to him that in no way is this situation a generalization against the business, and he has gracefully acknowledged that my complaints are legitimate.

This complaint is very specific and backed up by incontestable facts, photos and statements of admission by the seller.

Todd Lamb has violated the selling rules both here and Offshore Only for years now. He's a vendor who doesn't pay supporting vendor fees, he advertises in forums for free regularly and does nothing for this community unless it will make him a buck.

Since he has chosen to ignore this situation when he could have paid a small fraction of the repair in a timely manner and been done with it, I intend to see to it that the members be forewarned from here on out.

Let's keep in mind, alot of Scream and Fly members are lurkers here because they don't have big bad offshore boats they tend not to participate, but they do read and they are an important part of this community. Many of them contribute and do business on this board as well.

Just because they don't post much or sometimes at all here doesn't mean they aren't respectable members of the fast boat community.

I'm not sure why the outrage is not as well understood here on OSO, but the people on Scream and Fly are mad that this happened to one of their members.

If you are going to do half ass business, rig 100+ boats unsafely, forge documents, and threaten the customer, you had better expect to get bad feedback in this world of high speed/high tech communications.

I don't need to bash. The facts and photos speak for themselves.
