magnuman, sweet job on the Donzi. I am surprised your Magnum has not sold yet. It has to be one of the nicest ones on the planet!!

Re: restoration or get a newer boat???

I have done the restorations because there are few new boats whose lines(design) get me excited.
If you love the design of an older boat then it is well worth the time, cost and effort to restore one.
Unfortunately, I think there are many who go into an older boat restoration thinking it's going to be cheaper than buying new.
It usually is not.
There have been many boats that I have bought that were priced right and made money when I sold, but there has never been a boat that I have restored and made money on.

Red's just not my color.
But I would consider buying it . I'd just have the red changed :D
You did an awesome job on both the Magnum and Donzi (Damn, Red too :D )
Love the Dash and the Polished drive on the Donzi - Beautiful attention to detail.

Magnum 27,
Thanks.
The market on the west coast is typically not for this type of boat. There have been many prop kickers who are trying to have me give away the boat. Not going to happen.
I have someone who really wants to buy the boat and fortunately can afford to keep it right.
The boat is getting prepped for the season and I will be
taking him for a trial run within the next week or two.
Good luck with your Magnum. It's looking great.

TommyMonzy...I'll throw in another of the Sutphen, but I hate putting her up against that Donzi....wholy-moly that thing is s-sick! Nice boat magnuman! That Monza is pretty sweet, too!
I gotta admit it's pretty hard for me to get emotional about a lot of the new boats, cuz all you gotta do is write a check (like Vanilla-Ice) and the boats yours. Nice to seem some work go into them, and personalization.

Hey, Grimmy, do you run on Mead most of the time? I just bought a place in Henderson and will be about fifteen minutes from the lake so I guess I'll be on it a bit. :D Maybe we'll see you out there.
