I don't know any details.

This makes 5 boats already this season clean off the trailer onto the ground. PLEASE cinch down your boats with ratchet straps in the rear, and a heavy safety chain in the front. I am literally sick of seeing this.

Yes I have traveled without straps and now looks like I will be doing a better job on using them :(

Props and drives look to be in o.k. shape... my guess is the boat came from the road at the top of the hill in the 3rd picture...

we need T2x for a solid rant about how steps f'ck up towing aerodynamics and the boats get out of control. :D

Me too on the transom tie downs :rolleyes: ...I always run a monster triangulated safety chain up front tho.

That picture was taken at LOTO on Lake Rd W-12 last weekend. The picture was taken on Saturday, I believe the boat came off the trailer Friday evening though.

There are more details on the link above. The boat was apparently new. ( Now its 'like new' :D ) You can still see the winch strap/hook latched onto the bow eye.

NO TRANSOM TIE DOWNS.

Details are sketchy from the other post. The rumor is that the boat rolled. If it did slide, I think you would see a trench under the boat from where the bow dug out the sand on the way in. If it rolled, you would think the windshield would be mangled along with the rails and such. Actually, from those pics, the boat looks remarkably good for what it went through, sliding or rolling. Almost like someone 'placed' it there.

If it was on a Myco it would not slide backwards. must of went off the front or side :eek:

Saw it too on Saturday...they were putting atravel trailer on it when we went by. Didn' tlook too bad considering the ditch it was in. The dully however was pretty screwed up.
