Last year I took the TopGun from my place In Boynton Beach on the ICW to the restaurant I worked at in Delray. It was great, but it wasn't much fun idling all the way home at 2am. Plus, my neighbors were not really happy when I came home late.

I always wanted to, and just before I started my current job, they moved inland from a marina location.

Out of novelty, I have always wanted to take my boat up into Washington DC for an appointment, and taxi downtown. The problem is there really aren't too many marinas to choose from. I will do it someday though.

Daily to and from work on a small island so there is no choice. I do general island work/maintanace in the Thousand Islands in Northern New York.

When we lived in Fort Washington we used to take the Donzi into Old Town as it cost less to dock for the day than parking. Of course gas was a little more, but who's counting.

I run a boat about three days a week...
I have areas where I can put a boat in and hit three or four dealers via the water...
Then there are the days where I put a boat on and off the trailer three or four times...
Different boats..one day a 2,000lb 20' bass boat, another day a 10,000lb 30' CC with twins...

I don't have a slip at home, so I can't "commute" via water...
