Even though late Sept./Oct. is still in "THE" season, traditionally early October is great weather. I went online and checked for the last ten years the weather and that time seemed to be good.

I want to plan it so that it doesn't conflict with some other major event, and to run it this spring I just don't have the time to pull it together. There are a couple of hoops I have to jump through with the "parent" club so I can ride on their insurance carrier. CFFW has done poker runs on the East Coast before so it's more formality than anything else.

Going to be interesting weather this summer, it has NOT started out particularly good since we're breaking records for rain, and the winds have still not died down. Usually this is one of our best times, not so far.

Anyway, with both weather, and possible conflicts in mind, send suggestions on time. Thanks. R

I will be out of town Memorial weekend and the next! I have a bunch going on so dont try to plan around me if a bunch of people are in. If I am in town I will be there.

If it's over Memorial Day, I'm in. I'm passing on the St. John's OSO get together to do the Jacksonville Poker Run and they are too close together to do both.

Where the hell is beer can island????

If we do this we should have a meeting place and all of us run together.
