The small works well for me. I have a 25' boat.
(Baby) Personal watercraft
(Small) Offshore / Sport 18' to 30', cabin cruiser to 24'
(Large) Offshore / Sport to 40', cabin cruiser to 32'

I bought a large for my 28' scarab knowing that all you high rollers in the 35+ footers come late to the party and hardly ever put out a bumper much less anchors...(you bastards know who you are
