They are 565cid, HP950 Holley carbs, 9.4 cr, hyd roller cams, AFR cnc ported heads, Dart single plane intakes. They idle at about 750-800rpm in neutral, make peak torque at 4400rpm, and make peak HP up to 5600rpm. They have a very broad, flat torque curve, and very impressive throttle response. Dave Wessledyke (WESCO) assembled, and dyno tuned the engines, JimV ported the exhaust ports of the already CNC'd ported heads, and I wanted a cam that would idle as smooth as it could, and still make power up to 5600-5800rpm----a request that you almost never hear of---and not an easy task! My personal requirements for these cams were given to "rmbuilder" (Bob), and he was just the man for the job. The engines were built for smooth idling charactoristics for long idling periods, drivabilty, longevity, endurance, torque, and throttle response. I am very happy with the results from all involved. The thought of my boat being in the water shortly is almost unbelievable!

Sounds great! I guess this answers my question from a different post. Hope to see lots of your boat this summer.
