I agree I think it sucks buying a boat. There is no fun in it.
Try driving almost 3 hours to NY with a check in hand for a deposit and being told the boat was sold a 1/2 hour before You got there. Yet the sales guy refused to take a deposit on the phone.
But then he calls me 5 days later to tell me that guys credit is no good he can't get approved for the loan
So now i'm waiting to hear from finance co. and running back up NY tomorrow.
OH I had him drop another 8K off the boat first

capo71, where in new york are you going. that really sucks. as i was reading the first thing that popped into my head was you better get a better deal. im glad they lowered the price for you. what kind of boat is it.
