A king snake may be the only snake I wouldn't kill. They kill lots of vermin, and they also kill rattlers and mocasins. But hey, like I say, a good snake is a dead snake. You made him a good snake.

Yep, That's a King snake and you should have let him be. Poisoness snakes will not come around him and he would have kept pests (mice, bugs) in control. I only kill poisoness snakes, all others I let be. Nice gloves !!!!

How can yo utell if the snake is poisonous or not? Let it bite you and wait for the outcome? I heard it was the shape of it's head....True?

I agree, The only good snake is a dead snake. I have friends that say not to kill king snakes because they are good to have around. I understand what they are saying but I still cant stand any snake king or not.
