I understand completely. 35 Lightning 01 with 500's whippled . Its a handful over 90. Wish it was a little longer.I keep the boat in Haverstraw . Go out to the sound often. Also do all Billy's PR's

with a set of 4 blade Bronson Hill props I would say 82-84 depending on the weight of the boat. Of course with a fully loaded cabin it will be on the lower end.

Oh, yea, you can still run at that speed in 5-6 footers!

If the boat has a 1.5 gear in it depending on weight Waterspeed is right 82-84 mph @ 5250 rpm with 10% slip. It is an awesome running boat and has great rough water prowess. Congrats on the purchase.

OH KRAZYKATZ GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEW RIDE MIKE MAKES A GREAT BOAT I HAD A RIDE ON THE 1ST RACE BOAT MIKE MADE FOR HARRY TURNER ON THE CAPE we jumped the wake of the ferry at 95 to 100mph the tachs were like 6400 to 6800 rpm this was in 95 after keywest :D I taped the ride , what a ride :D :D :D

well it might take me a little time to learn how to post the tape but its cool heading at the ferry I thought harry was going to pass at the bow in the film I move to the front pan back at the drives and back at the bow and the ferry gets bigger and bigger Harry starts heading for the middle of the ferry and the rpms are going higher and higher :eek: :eek: I THOUGTH I GOING TO SH%T MY PANTS :eek: IT WAS GREAT smoothest landing in a boat no bang,just a smoooooth landing like a 46 ft skater :cool: I'll be at the cape cod race and bring the the tape with me if anyone wants to see it :D

I raced against Harry and Mike back in 95. That huge OL dwarfed my Phantom. We had some great races against each other. That boat was and the 37 still is a fantastic boat.

Ask Harry who runs better in a head sea? My Phantom or his OL. The answer will suprize you.
