Be careful? Those big blocks in that boat work great for that combination.

It is a 1974, the name was painted on the side by the prior owner(the artist dated his work 1981, GlenAgain). The boat is obviously yellow, and when it did chine walk it became a little "hairy" (wild), if you don't follow the slang. It doesn't chine walk now, and by the way, the boat is for sale. My father has owned for 17/18 years, PS if you want to race the boat, turn around and pull up along side, he'll give anyone a shot. He just likes to run people. 99 times out of 100 we are the ones turning around to run people, and sometimes people just don't understand, or don't appreciate the idea of a two or three mile drag race. More questions are welcome.
Stephen

Hope that's vinyl.
Otherwise - wicked cool Magnum. Big blocks . . . yikes.
Better be packin' goggles.

Waayyyyyyy cool. . . I personally LIKE the cutout for the stand-up bolsters ( as long as no stringers were compromised ).
Yes, goggles are a must, I wear Guard Dogs, the oldman wears Spex; there is quite a bit of wind. The name, if you don't get it, oh well, to each his own. It is painted, oldschool style.

We used to go to Barnegat Baym (Dover/Toms River) once a year for the race in the bay, or the radar shoot-out, the last time we were up there was 10 years ago +/-. We mostly boat in the northern Chesapeake, from NJ down the canal to the bay. Somtimes, we put in at Hargroves (Big Timber Creek) and go out the Delaware River by the Walt Whitman Bridge, and boat north to Trenton Marine, and lastly we used to put in on the Egg Harbor River at Kent's Marine (Mays Landing, NJ), and hang out in the ocean off Margate, by Lucy the Elephant, and wait for boats to run.

By the way, the Magnum's owner (my father) likes Phantoms, and really used to like Mr.Technology.

So did I.

Here's Mr. T in his new life in Trinidad. Still running hard. Gotta love the Zoomies.
