I was coming back from Catalina just about sunset one day a few years ago and got in the middle of the largest pod of dolphins on the planet. There were thousands of them... for a mile in every direction, and they were movin. It was just about the most beautiful thing I have ever seen- they were sparkling silver as they broke water and caught the light from the sun against the dark water. I'll never forget that sight.
