Re: What GPS Would You Buy
I have used several brands over the years and the Garmin Blue Chart is by far my favorite. It is much better than the C-map.
Just buy color and get the blue chart and I'm sure you will be very pleased. We have both the 276C and the 2006C and they both do a very good job. |

Dock, have you used the current C-Map NT+ cartography?

The 192 looks like a bigger unit?

Re: What GPS Would You Buy
Here's another good one--Standard Horizon. Uses C-Map charts and you can copy routes to a balnk chip from computer software and read the route on the Standard.
I replaced a Standard with a SIMRAD--nice goods but Standard is MUCH better. |

Does anybody know how the prices for the different chips compare from the C-map to the Blue chart.

I would love to step up to a large GPS like that but I am a little short on dash space so it would have to go on the deck :D
