One Way Rental Ny To Ca. Need Help.
#1

I need to pick up my new Superboat in New York July 1. I was going to rent an RV to tow it to calif but I must have waited too long, I can't find one now. Any idea's besides U-Haul? I was even thinking of shipping my truck there or buying a used truck and reselling it out here. The best rate I got for shipping was $3500.+ if I have the boat delivered to me.

if you can get someone to take it for you for 3500 then you should jump on it. at that rate I wonder how good his equipment is and how good his insurance is. My best rate from new york city is 4500 but I have good insurance and the tow vehicles are new. Jeff Murray 909-*********

I would think you could do better than a $3,500 loss on reselling a used truck.....he11 you may even make a buck on it. Good Luck, I wouldn't wanna drive 3,000 miles.

You have to decide if your week away from work and the boring drive is worth time or just pay someone to get it done for you. If you are not used to driving that far you will think that you are driving to the end of the earth. I live in canyon lake so I am pretty close to you.

bgchuby01, Are you using a flat bed rig or towing boats on trailers? I've seen you tow boats to florida often but I never contacted you because I did'nt think you went to NY. As for the drive, I've done it three times already but, you have to be in the right state of mind for it for sure. What do you think of paying for it without seeing it first?
