I called and got rooms. Thanks, they like the guys from grand lake. Are any of your bunch going on that weekend, July 29,30. ?

I'm pretty sure we are going to be down that weekend. We will probabaly have our 4 year old with us, so probably no PC all day. Might cruise through it to check out the scenery though

Great! You need to get a map of the area so that you know where Salty Dog is. You can't go to LOTO and not go to Salty Dog. There are other bars that are within 10 minutes. When you check in they can help you or get the lake publications on your right when you go to check in. Have fun!

Is the lake pretty deep? any hazards or will the lake map point that out?

lake is plenty deep where you will be running at... if you get deep back into a cove you might find som shallower water, but you should be fine otherwise....

Well I just moved here three weeks ago and am always willing to help out powerboaters, so if worse comes to worse let me know I have got room in my condo and an empty dock slip right across from the salty dog, let me know I can probably get you in no charge.
