My 13yo daughter decided she finally wanted to drive, which I have been wanting her to for a while........ She got on plane and drove back from the resturant at a wopping 32 mph, until we came up on a crusier that needed to be passed to stay in the channel. She calmly grabbed the throttle, got her to 40 and went on around over the wake with a big smile. Kids are great, but fatherhood is even greater.....

Thats Awesome Shah!! My daughter drove the AT last year when she was just about 13......I stood behind her and had my hand on the throttle.....She took it up to 60
then we came into traffic...or at least close to traffic.... she backed off and turned it over to me. She would rather drive the pontoon for a couple of outings

Thats great, I'm looking forward to that day... My son is only 16 months old and its hard to take him to the lake in the AZ heat for to long, I had a great day boating yesterday (fathers day) I just wish he was alittle older and could enjoy it with me!!!

My oldest just turned 9 and I expect him to be with me at the whell some this summer. My 3 year old already insists he can drive, even sits in the seat with one hand on the wheel...one on the throttles!!!
