..that's right, my bud was a Company Cmdr at Cape May..Ron and I brought that thing down...
Dave's now a Chief Warrant Office on the Sherman, out on the West Coast...also did some time in the Bering Sea with the Crabbers...

I left for cape may june 29 1969...boot camp...........delta 76 was my company......buck hollowell was my company commander..........uscg was a great experiance...........I was just 18...........good luck........and dont vollenteer for anything..........I recall one evening they came looking for a few vollenteers to pilot a coast guard cutter.it was tough not vollenteer but i was warned so i did not vollenteer.later saw vollenteers with LAWNMOWERS also referred to as a coast guard cutter...........................magnum mark..........true story.............p.s..say hi to charlie nobel....
