Now that you mention it...
I will have to get a pic of my bow stops, maybe tonight, but I may be looking for a better safety tie down for my bow. Currently I have 2 safety hoops on the trailer and a 10,000# ratchet strap holding the bow eye down to the safety hoops. It's a pain to use the ratchet strap. |

I seem to be the only one with this worthless POS set up :mad: I haven't trailered much, so I am just now noticing how bad it is :( If the ramp is not steep, and the trailer is not deep in the water the bow won't get over the top of the stop :mad:

Why couldn't you just mount the stop lower. Maybe fabricate a bracket to move it down 18 inches or so. |

i got this one on the myco site.... :cool: I have modified it again by cutting the stop out and replacing it with a movable jack style that I put a impact into and spin up or down approx. 12" so it is out of the way on steep ramps. In this photo I have already cut and lowered the winch and moved it forward so the bow would not hit on steep ramps.. |
