I can't see David leaving his boat outside. It may be another customer's Cig.

Without standing where you took the picks I can't quite recall where they are located. I have to be there to see the area.
The waterslide is, I believe, next to Casino Pier. Correct?
Our first apartment was a block in from the boardwalk. Can't recall the street though. I'm sure it was north of Casino Pier. It was a winter rental, 3 rooms for 100.00 a month. Bet you don't see that anymore.

I know what you mean.
When I lived in Beachwood, 1987, it was looking bad. Last time I walked the boards was 2000 I think. It was looking a bit shabby then too.
If my memeory is correct our first apartment was on Freemont Ave. a couple blocks north of the pier.

I've been going to Seaside since I was two weeks old. Obviously, the frequency of visits has changed over the years, but I still like to go at least once a year, just to check it out.
To be honest, over my lifetime I'm not sure how far downhill the place has really gone. I think the older I get, the more realistically I look at the place.
In other words, it was always a little shabby, I just didn't see it when I was a kid.
On a side note, my cousin is a UPS driver - his route....the boardwalk.
