I'm already booked 3 months ago Stayin 3 weeks between Key West, Orlando, St. Augustine.

We've gone with a group of friends fairly regularly since 1991. We've seen the ups and downs in race attendance. But Key West is always a great place to go and get away from reality for awhile. Regardless of racer turnout, we will be there. This year we plan on running the poker run from Miami for the first time - something we've dreamed about doing for years.

Had have reservations since day after last years race.

However.... Every fan and photo bug that is going (like me) be aware that if you get VIP tickets and viewing area there is now a giant cement thingy (?) at the outer mole that will block your view untill the boats are right in front of you....and passed you.

IMHO VIP (tented) area should be moved to another.. prime viewing area AND for heavens sake GET REAL FOOD NOT DRIED BOX LUNCHES for Saturdays festivities.

I also suggest a golf cart people mover at a modest price. The group including me almost passed out during the walk/crawl out to the outer mall.

By the way, the Rack of Lamb at the Outback is the greatest..

When/ where is the Poker run ?? I have an album posted that was taken at Key Largo (I think as we weere driving down).

Next race- for me is Deerfield and maybe Dania Beach..
