I hate to throw 1 last option in not knowing the cost difference, but I would look at a 39 Skater V-bottom as well! Skater is obviously proven and there aren't many around which gives you something different. I would say any of those options would be great choices!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

As far a customer service is concerned, Craig Barrie and Scott Smith at Dragon are great to work with. No dealer to haggle with. Factory direct is the way to go. It's definately worth a look.

Has anyone seen a 39 Skater V-bottom pleasure boat??

No 399 skater pleasures out there except baja co=op. they are 400k with 525's and a yeaar out. I just saw a brand new 42 outerlimits delivered to loto with gas leaking out of the fuel cell due to faulty rigging, and heard they are cutting holes in bottom of boat and sending back to customer, not good. had a customer call me on the Dragon, took it out on a water test, only saw 75mph because boat was squirrelly and he was not comfortable with the handling of the boat and ask driver to shut it down. just facts for thought. I know things happen but just want to let a potential buyer know the facts.

I spoke to the same guy about his Dragon ride. Boy, was he dissappointed with it.

I say Top Gun 38 or 39. Many dealers have them in stock. 39 was boat of the year. Also, the resale is at the top for performance boats.

I have a friend with a 39TG that runs 89mph with 525's. For the same money another friend is buying a 43 super v with 900's and SSMVI. Both are new and both are loaded with AC/Gen and excellent paint. IMHO the 43 in way more boat for the $$$

The first one is vonb, the second one is vonb with a space before the v. My guess is his trial ran out and he reregistered.
