How many boats attend the July Poker Run? I am interested in coming, but I don't know the water. Is it a laid back poker run? Thanks for the info. I will check out the website also.

This is our first time, and it is shaping up nicely. It will be
made up of our club boats which are all shapes and sizes. And some hot boat like Rio Roses. We have two starts planned so every one will be comfortable. Probably around 50 boats.

I would say this would be perfect, because you will be among a lot of boaters that really know the waters and they will be happy to help you. Plus you will not meet a better group of OS boaters anywhere, that is why Mr P and I keep traveling about 5 hrs each way to meet up with them. Hope you can join us
.
Donna
PS since you are new to the club, I will assure you that is me in the avatar

Donna,

Thanks for the reply. I live in Minneapolis and I think that I am going to try to attend. Where do the majority of the people start and is it the same finish point? I have a 35' Fountain and will probably stay on the boat. Do the majority of the boaters stay at the marina on the boats? Is the poker run on Saturday? I could not find it on the website. It looks like something is happening on Friday as well. Sorry for all of the questions.
