Another Accident

Chain of Lakes northern Il. Lake Marie. 3pm today.

The driver (mid to upper 50 yro) and all passengers (3-5 teen aged to early 20's girls) were ejected from a 30 or so foot Donzi as it made a sudden left hand turn at around 60mph. Luckily, everyone escaped uninjured. The driver was not wearing the kill switch tether. The boat continued toward the shoreline hit a seawall and continued parallel to the shore. The boat went THRU 3 piers, a docked sailboat, and a shore station and ended up on top of a 4th pier with the motors still running. There were many people onshore who were also lucky to not have been harmed by this carelessness.

I took many pics but i'm having a problem resizing them. Can someone help?

Upload the pictures to Yahoo photos (free), then edit the folder to public view. Then send us a link to the folder.

You can also download this tool from Microsoft if you are running XP. Go to this link

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

then look down the right side for ImageResizer.exe. Download the file and run it. Works great. When you right click on a photo it will give you the option to resize the photo.

Thanks.

I can't believe the boat made it between the shore and that pontoon boat.

Notice how busy the lake is. It was a miracle no one was injured.

WTF?? How stupid are these people? If I'm not in a long (15 min or more) idle zone, it's on me. This is a dark weekend for performance boating. Not only do we get tragic losses of lives, health & property, we also get the benefit of risisng insurance rates and a worse perception in the eyes of the public.

Want more speed limits, more rules, more gov't interference? This is the way to go about it.

Another dumb-ass, people like that should not be able to purchase another power boat. Better suited to something like a Sunfish.

My lanyard is on whenever my boat is on plane...period. What's with the high speed turns anyway?
