Last month the water inlet hose to the oil cooler split when I was running WFO. Hose just plain burst. Had a 2 inch slit in it. The hose could hold 5 psi when idling back to the docks but no more or would spill in bilge. Like a $20 hose or somethin like that. When kneeling on back seat looking aft, the hose was on the aft left side of the motor. Was there any water in the bilge?

Did you come across the problem, just wondering in case this problem may arise for someone else...

the problem was that the hose was pinched up in the gimble, obviously from a huge water hit in there, the impellor was fine i replaced it anyway, still acting up intermittently......still searching
