the boat made it to ketchum at about 5 this morning... (sorry james if we woke you with the alarm going off.... :D )

bubba stopped in lebanon on their way to derebery....

we lost matt w/ eddies fountain in our little mishap in indiana..

i learned how to prime a duramax..... :rolleyes:

we figured if you turn off your bright yellow light, you can run all night with a 12' wide load.... :eek:

and most importantly, we learned delo's truck loves skyy.... go figure huh? :D

With all the discussion regarding lifejackets on the other thread I couldn't help but looking at these pics again to see what they were wearing.
Lots of inflatables and a few with none. Sorry for the thread theft.

First off the donzi (post 14) with no life vests on was not in the run, they were observing. Secondly most of the shots were taken while ideling in and out of card stops. It was pretty warm and our boat plus lot of others removed their jackets during that time frame. I can say that I did not see one boat that was in the run without a vest. SOTW is strict in respect to safty. Jackets were worn, boats were encouraged not to run to close together, stay offshore, and no booze. Unlike some runs, people always seem to comply on this one. So back to the pictures please, and does anyone have a picture of the PatriYacht?

inflatable seams to be the pfd of choice...I think allot of people will re-think that decision..

Thanks, I was sort of just kidding, it's not one of the hot boats, but we did finish with no problems. We have a big white black thunder with with a red a blue stripe on the sides and stars on the bows. At one point we had an an Apache ( I think) slow down and run next to us, while shoting video, we got a kick out the fact that an Apache was filming us :D
One of our crew had a proffessional grade camera and took quite a lot of shots, hopefully she has some good ones.

Interior is not done. To quote Mitcher T (well, sort of, his versios was more colorful and longer) after he and others tried to hurry the interior builder along: "We don't give a phuck who you are or when you want it, we'll get it done when we get it done." At this point, if it were my boat, it would have been on it's way up to Michigan. Screw being treated like that!!! :mad:

Did anyone get a running shot of Quiet Storm and crew? For the second year in a row we did not get a picture from the helicoptor and are not in the video. Very dissapointing. :( Here is a shot of it tied up at the marina:

Here's one of your boat Mark. Holland card stop. I appologize for the blur on the bow area, apparently I had a water spot of something on my lens... all my pictures have a blurry area on them in the same spot. :mad:

Great pictures! Some awesome colors out there too.

I see some people in Life vest, but those inflatable thingies are totally worthless in this environment. They are floaties, not life vests, and will never withstand any sort of impact.

This board works great to get more people to realize the difference.
