do not trim drives in when turning on stepped hull-

Better yet, don't turn when hi-speed.

Is this correct?

I raced a 37 Outerlimits (Wild Child) for a few years with "Waterspeed" (OSO member) as the T-man. When it came to turns, he would set up the boat with the inside drive out a few clicks and the outside drive level. Outside tab was down a bit and the inside tab was up.
Tucking drives in will lead to trouble. If anything, leave them both out.
I know Bob wouldn't have set the boat up wrong.

How did you approach the guy at the ford dealership when you went in there? did he know who you were? Did he know why you were there? I cannot imagine them not taking care of you if they knew your situation.

just looking for some answers to the questions. I feel very bad about what happened, but sometimes it is easy to not completely understand a situation and then make comments that are negitive towards people who may or may not been able to help .

I think that most readers understood that the poor guy just lost his brother.

No need to defend your dealership.

We all know that there are two sides to a story.

How about leaving this thread to the crash victims brother to seek the answers HE needs, rather than make this a defense of the dealership?

It was a minor part in the unfortunate story.

Oh... and welcome to OSO. :D

We look forward to hearing about your boat on some other thread.
