The one thing that I notice is the turbine exhaust isn't poking out of the deck. ?

You mean like exhaust?.....but looking a bit forward it looks like the exhaust is above the "O" in the name....

Also dont see any type of tunnel tab of any kind either....

Re: Going testing this afternoon with Callan Marine

Caution to anyone running in Lake Monroe, there are 2 floating rafts out in the middle of the lake that are 5-6 feet square with solar panels on them. I have no idea what they are, but they aren't real well marked so be aware.

Where are the rest of the pics Dean? Since I snapped a few of them myself, I'm hoping to see more so I can pass them along to friends/family. Maybe you can download and email them to me if you get a chance. I have the same email as jc but with my name @ Mystic Powerboats.

Re: Going testing this afternoon with Callan Marine

Look how the back of the boat almost comes to a point. Its sleek looking :drink: .

The steering cylinders don't look to strong and in the first pict the steering rudder is real close to the ground.I think I would of had a drive guard on that trailer . I guess its a temp trailer??

The air intakes look like they need a scoop on them .Prob not finished yet.

It looks very aerodynamic.Nice !! :drink: :drink:

Thanks for sharing the picks Dean and good luck to Callan Marine ,Be safe!!

RC,
They have all been sent to JC's email @ Mystic. My buddy Kevin went over on the shore along 17/92 and took a few pics of Ms. Long Lite running @ speed, here's one, (He was fully zoomed out and I had to recrop them to fit on OSO) and I'll send the rest of the pics to Mystic Powerboat's Assistant to the President, (YOU! :evilb: ) and send them to Jeff's email too!

here is John Cosker, and Capt. of the "Duck", (ME!) trying to figure out the starboard EGT problem! Ultimately, that, and the fact the boat ramp closed @ 8pm, shut testing down for the evening. Overall, testing was a HUGE SUCCESS! This boat has much more potential than the Tencara that's just phucking unreal! :evilb:

The answer to the my Q on the transom shot is, there are no EXTERNAL fittings or hoses on the rudder steering rams! Very clean neat design! :drink:

Rob,
Very observent on your part. You should see it get on plane, it just goes forward with NO BOW rise, none and it's GONE! :D It's really wild to see it plane off! :drink:

Dave Callan and John Coster are great guys and good at what they do. The new boat looks great and I'm quite certain that it will be very fast!

Re: Going testing this afternoon with Callan Marine

Hey KiloKat you don't happen to have a print out of all the runs last year from the shootout do you? I have been trying to get them from the website but they are having problems with it and want to see if it is a waste of time to bring a boat in.

KiloKat 07-13-2005 11:25 AM

Re: Going testing this afternoon with Callan Marine

Sorry but I do not. I'm not even certain where to advise that you look. Maybe someone on OSO has the official results. Either way, you should run your boat. I'm sure that you would be competitive.

bobonthis 07-13-2005 11:32 AM

Re: Going testing this afternoon with Callan Marine

Yeah it is that whole prop issue it is only a 26ft eliminator and we really need a 38p prop but that is kind of out of the budget, I believe with a 38 we can do possibly 140mph, thanks Love seeing that Bacardi boat of yours going by the Dog although it has been a while?
