Awesome rough water rig, plenty of speed, and as for the other two, shave 1 1/2 to 2 feet off the length for the swim platform. I put 120 hours on my 2003 25 Outlaw in one season on a very volatile lake. Motor was a 496HO. I sold it to a friend and now he an his wife are enjoying the hell out of it. Here in VA we have to pay annual property taxes. So make sure you take into account the entire picture. Even though I budgeted everything out I'm still surprised at how much money goes into my SLUSH fund. |

The 26 ZX is a great boat owned one for years, I ran most of the Poker Runs with her, AC Poker Run, NY Poker Run, Sarasota Poker Run and 1000 Islands this boat handles well even in the rough stuff and has never came apart.

I think that since it's your first boat, you should get an "Older" boat that has already depreciated. That way, you can run it for a year or two and take good care of it and sell it for what you paid for it. :cool: I had good luck with a 1990 223 Formula. Just my .02 There is no sense "taking a bath" on your first boat. You have your whole life to lose your azz on boats. :D :evilb: :drink: :evilb: |

Don't leave out Nordic - great bang for your buck. I have a 28' Heat that you may find affordable...good luck!

Being 18 I think Im a ways off from realisticly owning a powerboat, but I love them and really want to have a boat for college. Right now I have around 10k saved up for a down payment which isn't alot but it's a start. The problem is I go back to school soon which means no extra income to save away. I haven't really got down to numbers yet. I probley can't afford to much I would say 40,000 max if I put 20k down which I plan to.
