One of the kids that came for a ride was named Amanda, she had a blast. Her dad rode shot gun while Amanda and I sat in the back egging on "Captain Crazy Dave" to hit the waves and go fast. After the event Joe D was walking across to launch my boat with me and we saw Amanda again having ice cream with her mom and dad, she came running over and gave me a big hug (again).
Sometimes we take for granted just how fortunate we are to have our health, family, friends and to be in positions to own some of the material things we have. These people are not as fortunate through no fault of their own. The smiles on their faces is priceless and Im sure will be remebered for a lifetime.
Thats what it is all about.
NJPPC does a great job with this event and it makes me proud to be a member of such a great group of people and to have these kind of friends.

I felt bad for the kids loading them on Steczs filthy tub but I guess Stecz must have handed them all autograhed pics of the 1995 KC ROYALS cause they all left with a smile on there face.

I REALLLLLY wanted to participate this year. Unfortunately, some things prevented me from doing so.
In fact, Kristen and I had talked about it last fall when I was home sick and we saw it on a video. I said to her, we HAVE to do that next summer. Well, in 2006 I WILL be there! Thanks to all of you that made it happen. Helping kids like that is the greatest. Tantrum could not have said it any better!
Stecz, you ARE a stand up guy, although somtimes you like to bend over fo guys, you are a good man, and your generosity this weekend only further solidify's what I already knew.
