Wobble.....that is a motley looking crew!:D[/QUOTE]

That is Nick on the left just before we got the bad news back in April, next is Dan, the driver of the UMP Modified, Kyle in the suit and me on the right, I had just spent an 90 minutes under the car working on the suspension, pull bar and swapping the quick change gears, worth it as we won a hard fought race that night. Besides, I wasn't ready for the camera:D

I performed a search and it appears that 2 or more members are Stryker boat owners so perhaps they will have some insight into their history. I am considering purchasing an older 1989 Strker 2150, but am trying to find out as much about the boat as possible before making a decision. So far I have found out nothing other than the company produced boats from 1987 to 1998. Does anyone on here know what happened to Stryker Boat Co. and why? How was the build quality, quality of materials, etc.? I just don't want to end up with a boat with rotted out stringers just to find out later it was a known problem with this brand of boat due to poor build quality. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Great bought my Stryker 2150 at Cedar Creek, great boat, have one for sale never rained on 454, 125 hrs, garage kept, call 214 837 5609

How much?

Also, where are the 2150 Stealth molds now?

The 28 was the old Sleekcraft hull... I tested it in the Pacific Ocean. This was quite a stout 24 degree hull!

What color is this boat? Is it named "Quicksilver" on the side?

Is your 38 still for sale ?

I was thinking of selling my '81 Hammond 2150, but after reading this thread, maybe not. I smell a hot rod boat project in the works! Maybe that old 400 small block laying around will get a new home!

Just fyi, am selling my 1995 Stryker Stealth for $12,500, not sure if that helps you in pricing your Hammond. I would think a collector would offer an unknown price point for the rarity of a Hammond.

38 Thunder Survivor

I have followed the Stryker post since I bought my 38 thunder about 4 years ago. It wasn't perfect but after a new stringer system and updated power, it has turned into a very enjoyable boat. Very solid and very roomy inside as far as "go fast" boats are concerned. I would include some pics but cant seem to figure out how to post pics on this site. Any advise ? Thanks

Registered members can post the pictures on a photo sharing website such as photobucket.com and then post a link in your message to the picture. Or you can e-mail the pics to me at wobbled at gmail dot com and I will post them for you. If you do e-mail them let me know here so I can go look for them.

Anybody know of a Stryker stealth for sale?

Wobble 11-17-2015 08:00 AM

I am not aware of one at the moment, there are still quite a few around. Great boat that loves extra power.

Wobble 11-17-2015 09:54 PM

If the transom and stringers are good. Does it have the Bravo 1 drive?

Sbiggs76 11-17-2015 10:22 PM

Yes bravo 1.

Proline 09-11-2016 06:25 PM

new to the page... i have found a 90' stryker 2150 stealth with a 454 all original boat with very low hours with bravo outdrive... stringers are in great condition just like the rest of the boat! the boat has been stored away in dry storage covered up for 6 years.. it ran 3 years ago and was properly put away. boat and trailer for $8k... would i be good buying at this price? and also curious of what one in great shape normally resale for? it was done for the 1990 dallas boat show, and has a 1 of a kind paint job

Don is still alive living in Huntsville though he has dementia. He is my husbands uncle. My husbands grandfather started Stryker in the 70’s Don took over after his death in the 80’s.

Just bought a 1989 stryker stealth

Just bought a 1989 Stryker 2150 stealth recently and have an urgent question. The boat has about 460 hours on it and is in great condition. I've read where a guy said he had two 1987s split down the middle and sink. Should I be worried about this in my 89 because now I'm a little paranoid haha. Is there anyway I can inspect for this?
. -Thanks!

well after having it out multiple times and multiple full throttle speeds, I guess the boat is safe. I Suppose I should had assumed this seeing as how it's been around for 33 years
