The 1st Great Adventure race boat was a 28 Cigarette. It later became Berk's Law.

Holy Smokes!!!! I'm probably the only one who hasn't seen this but I just took a look at the past.

I was watching the t.v. and saw the fellas across the pond racing in a P1 Race.

Big V-hulls!!!!!

Big water!!!!!!

Open cockpits!!!!!!!

It was pretty rowdy.

I started on this site not too long ago but, since then I've seen several threads on big water open water races. A chance for the old schoolers and new schoolers to get down and dirty in the open. Many people wishing that racing was still like that. This was it.

Am I the only one watching this?????????

The Pantera was pretty sweet and those guys were getting pounded!!!

I couldn't believe they were racing a Bullet. That shows you how stout those old cigs are.

Nice!
That was back when you built a boat for a particular class.
No breakout speeds. No GPS. No Bracket Racing.
What happened??????

49 "A" Class boats!
