Default Paging Stormrider

Hey Stormrider,

I saw you (I think it was you) blast past on Saturday near Roosevelt Island. I was out on my friends fishing boat checking out the sites. Looked good going by.

Dave... thats too f'n cool!
1st pics I've seen of it running.

If I'd a know it was you, I would have come over and say hi.
That's the downside of this place... we know our boats and call signs, but sometimes hard to put together.
Hats off to you for remembering what my ride looks like.

Thats my wife in the center w/ my kids (6yr/ 5yr) flanking her.
I was running in the 30s at that point.
Interesting how she is still outta the water pretty well at that speed.
How'd it sound?
Do you have other pics that are not downsized that maybe clearer you could email me?

Hey Storm,

I saw you coming, going over a few wakes catching air. I said to my wife, "check this guy out". As you got closer I said "I know that guy from OSO". My wife wonders how everywhere I go I see people from OSO. I had to zoom in a lot to get that pic. You were pretty far away. I will email you the originals. I was on a '24 walk around fishing boat. My friend keeps it in Hoboken right across from the Empire State bldg. We circled Manhattan and then went up to the Tappen Zee, then back to Hoboken. It was a nice day.

It was a bit rough out by the Statue of Liberty. You must of been catching some air. My wife wouldn't of wanted to be in the Superboat in that water. My wife did comment though on how SLOOOW my friend's boat went.

Dave

Funny, my wife talks about how its gonna get boring going to the same places over and over. But we talked about a cruiser for a moment.
I said "you go to the same places, but it takes 3x as long to get there."
She said, "no, I like the idea of a speedboat."

She had a good time that day, even w/ the low speed stuff and getting soaked.
Please send the pics anyway.
Thanks for taking them.

BTW, Up where I am, I don't see to many OSO'ers.
