Quick suggestion In honor of being a nyc fireman they are never retired, they will be a nyc fireman forever so on the back the back of the boat I would put (NYC FireFighter) because that is a namesake in itself that not to many people can have anyways but in parentheses I would put "retired" and just on the side of the boat name it (engine 29).
