I'm speechless.
I'm thankful no one was seriously hurt or worse. I hope this will be handled well in time.
I loved that boat Sean, my condolences.

That sucks!! Awesome boat. Sorry about the loss. I have to mention this little tid-bit: Recently, in the canal system where I boat, a cruiser was filling up at a locol marina. As the boat with 4 occupants and a dog began to pull away from the dock, gasoline apperantly began to spray out one of the carburators. The owner of the boat hopped into the engine room to try to fix the problem and as you probably are guessing...the gas ignited. Three of the occupants jumped off into the water, the owner of the boat attempted to get the dog in the forward cabin. He sustained burns on 75% of his body.....sadly the dog did not make it.
The boat was completely engulfed and currently the bottom portion is beached on the shoreline.

I don't know what to say. Sorry about your loss. I'm glad no one was hurt. I can't even imagine how he feels but like others have said, things can be replaced--lives can't.

Very sorry for your loss, but it's only wood and glass. If they are safe that's all that matters. If they built it once, they can build it again, better. Did that boat have any type of Halon system in the bilge? BigYellowCat that was a very nice offer, alot of great people on this site!!!
