We will be setting the boat up to cruise over 100, as the customer will be doing several poker runs.
Those numbers are incredible, that would be faster than every other comparable V Bottom. I cant imagine anyone not happy with those numbers with 950 per side. You guys should run that boat at the LOTO Shootout this year.

It went from 50 to over a hundred in about 3 seconds. The throttles are like playing with two chainsaws...the minute you stop respecting them, you are going to get your arms cutoff!

388 is about 8500 lbs..... don't know if that is lighter or heavier than earlier versions, i would assume if anything, lighter?

Dont know if the older, Paul Fiore days, 388's are different than the newer ones, but, I know the Schott brothers(Black Cloud) out of LI had to shave 16 inches off the tail end of the inner pair of lifting strakes to make the boat controllable w/ ASD's.
I guess over 110 it was all over the place. They are the guys to talk to if bottom modding needs to be done. They've had it to 144 w/ their 1400's. I hear the new owner up here in the 1000 isles is knocking on 150 w/ it..

Well, I got my first Arneson lesson today. We were all standing around waiting on Fed-Ex to deliver the new props from Mercury. He finally rolled up about 4pm and we were slinging boxes and bolting them up. I put the small sleeve "big shaft #6" on and it still had a lot of play??? WTF??? Put the big sleeve "small shaft #3 or#5" and I still have slack??? Get out the Micrometer, a #6 Merc has 1.88" shaft, #5 or big shaft #3 has a 1.75" shaft.....but the Arneson 6 has a 1.69" shaft but still has the #6 Merc spline.....it just has no shoulder. Arneson overnighted the correct sleeves from Cali.....supposed to be here by 10AM. Hopefully we will be on the water tomorrow and can do some testing with the bigger wheels.
