LEOPA Poker Run

Good Pics Red Dog.
Greg, glad to see you made the run. Hopefully it was on your boat.
Not having these installed kept me form the run. We will be at the fall run if we are in town.

Nice pics Chris, we did not have the biggest crew, but we were the redest
Unfortunately we had a bit of damage, our port engine would not shift into forward, we discovered this after lunch and limpted back to Monroe
After the rough ride in the morning our crew did not seem to mind the idle back and we had beer and margaritas to keep us company
. We made it back in time to see the boats come in Detroit Beach and blow by us, so we managed to arrive back at the harbor with the group
We also had problem in a shallow area and one of our props is pretty roughed up. Ian has a few ideas on the outdrive problem, and we might even make a trip to Mr Gadgets to have them fixed, thankfully we were talking next weekend off. For the first time we had a pretty decent poker hand and came in fifth, so we came home with a sunbrella
As always the LEOPA poker run was a lot of fun, good food, great people and a great value for the price. Thanks Dan, Dave and your crew for a good time.
RedDog did not bring his boat to the run, because today he is a medic or in a pace boat for the OSS races. Most of the LEOPA group were heading to Put IN Bay and Kellys for a continuation of the good times. We had to miss it, but we are going to take the ski boat on the little lake, so life is not all bad

Greg did take his ocean express out, it seemed to run well
He also took home all the prizes and slept in comfort on Madcows families luxury motor home
There was another ocean express there, Swift Kick. I think they were the only cats there. So. Lake Erie is Cigarette country and after the morning leg there is no question why
