Very calm..the river has a pretty good undercurrent, however ...a good time was had by all. Lots of locals who never saw these boats were there...it seems to promote offshore boating very well.

What amazes me is how few people outside this "circle" are really into the sport. A guy next to me didn't know you could buy a Fountain from a dealer that is pretty near the performance of the 10 meter running today.

What's with these folks...offshore 101 should be taught in school. :D

I had to laugh as one team who asked to go unmentioned switched to Mobil-1 V-twin 20W-50. There were several cases in the trailer. The driver said on teardown it looks amazing..better than before on a different 20W-50 synthetic.
They use Fram Racing Oil Filters. Engine oil runs 10 degrees cooler.

Guess somebody got the word out and somebody listened. They did have a checkered flag today in their hands too! :drink:
