Farmers Insurance blows big time, never had a claim, been with them for 17 years, hit a submerged object and needed a lower unit, DID NOT COVER it!

I had Progressive and switched when they quoted me $3,500 a year for my motorcycle (GSXR-1000). I had been with them for many years (with no claims and I'm 36 years old) and couldn't believe the price. I switched to State Farm. $340 a year for the bike and $395 a year for my Boat!

I'm insured with Progressive but I'm right up against their threshold. I had to initial a form stating my boat is not over 500hp and will not go over 75mph. My boat with a 525 hits 73 and is right at 500 hp. I pay just over $900. I call a bunch of other insurers and they would not insure the boat for it's length (28) and hp.

I am not sure why if they are charging you that much they suck. Boy I hope all my customers that know that they can get stuff from Best buy for less don't think that I suck.
