I received a call tonight from a Forsyth(Ga) Deputy. On my voicemail he stated that the boat('88 Fountain 8.8) I reported stolen 2 yrs. ago today (Aug. 3 '03) had been located. He said "we, or actually DEA has your boat. The boat has a convaluted paperwork history but we think it belongs to you".

He left a # and asked me to call tomorrow. I hope it is returned to me.

This is the boat I left to be brokered by the infamous Bill Harris. He sold it and hauled azz with the money and 30k in cash I gave as a deposit on a new boat. He was arrested last yr., and after serving only 12 months was ordered to pay restitution beginning this past June. I still have not received a dime and they are threatening to return him to prison.

I sure would like to get this boat back. It might be the only cash I ever see. On one hand it could be trashed and not worth shiit, or it could be better than when I lost it.

Time will tell and I'll keep the board posted.
