Must have about 1400hp,my motor made just under 950 on dyno using cmi elbow tops and I'm seeing low 90's in a baja 272,will probably run mid 90's once i get the prop perfect but to gain ANOTHER 20 mph would be very "difficult",Smitty
P.S.-I run a Max machine worx drive with EVERY upgrade and i have a spare that gets used too!

Sorry the serial number is 2 it has just about 900hp just with the engine alone nothing is stock on the boat the hull with custom made with the owner and Courtney Smith the outdrive is a beefed up bravo 1.

Screw all the racing someone buy the thing. Someone has to have seen the boat run it use to say Sizzle Marine on the side of it as a sponser and it was usually at the Lake Cumberland poker run. It has not been run hard in about two years just crusies every once and a while up and down lake cumberland. It is a one of a kind hull.

I was at a Baja dealer and saw the 25 and 30 Outlaw. The quality of the boat looks pretty darn good. They vac bag 'em now and the 30' Outlaw has a pad toward the back..nothing radical.

The 30'er with T-375's is good for 70's..and the price is 115K.
That's a boat with no beak or platform...so it's more like a 34'er LOA if it had them...

Seems like a good deal to me...why does everybody make fun of Baja? Just curious...

I don't think everyone makes fun of Baja, but it is considered your entry level performance boat or was, I don't even think you can consider it that anymore, I think they have been stepping it up, I wouldn't own one because where I was from everyone and there mom had one, in Ohio but that is because they made them in our backyard.

That must be it...they redesigned it to an extent and improved the build quality and process. They ride great.

They have been doing a lot of testing in the wind tunnel as of late from what I have been reading so I would expect great things from them. The problem I think a lot people have with them is there is so many of them they are a mass produced boat, that is just my .02

Re: 25 outlaw

I think the 115 is a little high. There was a guy here with a baja hammer (21ft) with a 900hp+ engine that would do like 97mph. thats freaking nuts.

Re: 25 outlaw

Ok, well like I said I am sure he did not have the hull blue printed by the same people and the prop labbed by the same person and and he did not have it rigged by the same person and his hull was not modified by Courtney Smith. All I am saying is differnent people get differnt results.
