Re: Dirty Northern Chesapeake water???
I find that if you don't go any farther north than the Magothy and Chester rivers the staining is not as much of a problem. Fairlee creek middle river area is usally a good time though.

Re: Dirty Northern Chesapeake water???
Last week I was out of slimey grimey and grabbing at staws I tried som CLR. Much to my suprise it worked as good as slimey grimey. Then after this weekend in the dirty water it suprisingly only has 1/2 the tea line of what it normally would. Never heard clr working before, but it does.

Re: Dirty Northern Chesapeake water???
I just tried spray nine on my boat and it did not make any difference, the only thing that i have used that works is on/off for the brown stains.

Try mixing On/OFf 50/50 with water. Its not as toxic and works just as well.

Re: Dirty Northern Chesapeake water???
I just used slimy grimy about two weeks and just used Starbrite instant hull cleaner after the Chesapeake, both worked great!!! I had used on/off many times, works great, but hated the fumes. Spray nine I use for the black soot.......
