Lucy, you should come back up here and take the Apache out for the air and water show. The forecast is calling for Apache water. Saturday, NNW winds at 10 mph Sunday NNE winds at 15mph.
Gonna be a little bumpy for a raft up.

I agree. Way too rough to raft at the Air Show. How is the boat running? Our you going to be out for the practice session on Friday?

Dan, it was ready this weekend. but the weather wasn't. I think we are going to sneek out tomorrow afternoon for a few hours. We'll see about Fri.

The city of Chicago really needs to move that show back to July, like it was 15+ years ago.
The weather always goes to crap and the waves build this time of year.

.SUNDAY...NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. WAVES 6 TO 8 FEET.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...NORTH WINDS 10 TO 20 KNOTS. WAVES 4 TO 6 FEET.

Fun to run around in, not so fun to sit on an anchor for 4 plus hours!

SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY. A group of us from Grand Sport Center are leaving Alsip heading south thru the Calumet out thru Hammond and up to Chicago Sunday about 10:30-11:00 am. We have small group of 15 boats so far. Anyone that want to hook up and run with us should be a good time. We are going to see if we can raft off like last year but we will see if the Lake let's us that day. See you guys out there.
