Under way I don't have much choice as I have the high back buckets that are on the floor in my Spectre. They're cushy though and very comfortable. Kind of like boating in a recliner. 
When we're in the coves or around the docks I'll usually either sit up on an armrest or on a knee so I can see a little better over the sponsons.
