Default a/c problems

Was out on the river this weekend and the a/c worked for a little while but then it flash a code of HPF.manuel says its high pressure freon.i turned it off then back on and about every 2 minutes it does it again. It was 89 in the cabin.I release some pressure from the vavle but didn't make a differance.Anyone know what the fix is.Do i need freon ?

You need a new boat.....I'll give you a few bucks for your POS

If you see water pumping out and the compressor kick in then it's over my head.....good luck!

was the water circulating? If the pump stopped, It will cause pressure to build since it cant get rid of the heat.

It means high pressure-freon. For some reason your cooling water is not going through the unit. Either the system is clogged or the pump is done-you may also have an airlock in the system. Try opening the sea strainer and see if there is water flow there.

If its low, your pressure is low as well. I dont think that is the problem.
